Let me just say CONGRATULATIONS TO DAVID COOK FOR BEING THE AMERICAN IDOL!

I must say, it was a really intense fight between the 2 Davids. Both Big David and Little David have shown their capabilities in their genre of music and have proven themselves why they were standing at the final stage of the competition. You can't really compare both of them as they are both unique in their own ways. David Cook is an amazing rock singer whereas David Archuleta is more towards pop, R&B and ballad. In my opinion, this season is the best of the best and would be an unforgettable one as the talent showcased is simply diversed and amazing.

David Archuleta! I'm so happy that you have shared your love for music to the world and for one thing, I'm feeling your love! You guyz might not believe it, but my heart was still pounding the whole day when I got the results! Now I'm feeling alrite and I'm being positive! It's alrite if you are the runner-up! I'm still your loyal, true fan! I wish you all the best in your singing career and I'm really looking forward to your debut album! I'll be sure to buy it! You can bet on it! One more thing. Get some sleep, David! You too, David! Haha! Have a well-deserved rest! :D

Until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

DAVID ARCHULETA FOR THE WIN! GO ARCHIE!

Saturday, May 17, 2008

Lyrics of "Longer" by Dan Fogelberg, sung by David Archuleta. I love it! :D

Longer than there've been fishes in the ocean
Higher than any bird ever flew
Longer than there've been stars up in the heavens
I've been in love with you.

Stronger than any mountain cathedral
Truer than any tree ever grew
Deeper than any forest primeval
I am in love with you.

I'll bring fires in the winters
Youll send showers in the springs
We'll fly through the falls and summers
With love on our wings.

Through the years as the fire starts to mellow
Burning lines in the book of our lives
Though the binding cracks and the pages start to yellow
I'll be in love with you.

Longer than there've been fishes in the ocean
Higher than any bird ever flew
Longer than there've been stars up in the heavens
I've been in love with you
I am in love with you..

Woo hoo! Long weekend! Yeah! Looking forward to a hopefully positive week next week. :)

Until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

First of all, let me just say CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH DAVIDS FOR MAKING IT TO THE FINAL 2!

American Idol would end next week with either David Archuleta or David Cook bringing home the title of the 7th American Idol. Of course, from my blog, you guys should know who I'm rooting for to win the title. Haha! Even so, both Davids are awesome in their own way! :D

I can't wait for next week. Hopefully, next week would be a good week with of course the American Idol Finale and other positive stuff since these past few weeks, I felt really depressed and down. Why? Tough modules, fierce competition, intelligence, headache. That basically summarises it. *sigh*

Until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

Hello!

Alrite so here we go. I'll break my long chain of thoughts bit by bit so it won't be so cramped in one entry. Though I don't know if anybody reads my blog and feel as if I'm babbling to myself or something. Oh well. Moving on..

Alrite this might sound random but rainy days just makes me happy. I don't why. It's kind of wierd since this weather will make anyone feel naturally gloomy throughout the day but not me. Whenever dark clouds gather in the sky, I'll smile and say to myself, "It will be good today". So I guess it starts my day off pretty well and I'll be more content if it rains the whole day. I'll be totally happy and smiling from ear to ear. :)

Also, what I like about rainy days is I get to wear jackets. I just love wearing jackets. But it seems kind of impossible especially here at my place where it's always sunny all year around and it rains occasionally. Rainy days are great since you get to see rain falling from the sky and being cosy in your warm jacket when you walk outside with your umbrella, even so with your music in your ears. Gosh, what a feeling! :D

Congratulations David Archuleta for making it to the Top 3! You have my full support all the way! Soar to your best! :D

Alrite I shall stop here for now. You might get bored after reading this so I don't blame ya. It's just me expressing what I feel in my heart. :)

Well, until here then. Byez! Nash out!

*Locks thoughts in brain*

Until here then. For now. Nash out! :D

there's just not enough time to do everything you want to do..

Hey guyz!
School's been hectic. It's been really stressful and been driving me bonkers. And it's only been a few weeks since school started. Goodness. Hopefully, the coming weeks would be better.

Oh, I found something interesting yesterday. My previous tutor from my previous semester told me I have a cool demeanour. Haha! I didn't know her perception of me was like that. That improved my day yesterday. :)

David Archuleta sang "America" and "Sweet Caroline" this week as it was Neil Diamond week. However, he only recorded the studio version of "Sweet Caroline". Funky! Here are the lyrics:

Where it began, I can't begin to know when
But then I know it's growing strong
Oh, wasn't the spring, whooo
And spring became the summer
Who'd believe you'd come along

Hands, touching hands, reaching out
Touching me, touching you
Oh, sweet Caroline
Good times never seem so good
I've been inclined to believe it never would

And now I, I look at the night, whooo
And it don't seem so lonely
We fill it up with only two, oh
And when I hurt
Hurting runs off my shoulder
How can I hurt when holding you

Oh, one, touching one, reaching out
Touching me, touching you
Oh, sweet Caroline
Good times never seem so good
Oh I've been inclined to believe it never would

Ohhh, sweet Caroline, good times never seem so good

Ahh! Brooke White is out! I can't believe this! I love her and David! *sigh*

Anyway, I just want to wish Brooke all the best in everything she does in the future and I believe she'll be successful in her singing career. I'll be sure to grab her album if she makes it in the future. Cheers! :D

Well, until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

Music has been my companion for the past week. That's all I have to say.

Friday, April 25, 2008

Hey guyz!

What a week it is! How time flies! It's already Friday! Yeah! Weekends are almost here! This week have been hectic now that I have normal lectures and tutorials. Oh well. Let's hope I'll sail through the semester with no problems whatsoever.

Oh and a shout-out to:

Noor Indra!

Happy Birthday in advance! May all your wishes and dreams come true! Stay happy and cheerful always! Semoga Allah sentiasa melindungimu. Amin. :)

I love this week's American Idol! David Archuleta once again never cease to amaze me each week. He sang "Think of Me" written by Andrew Llyod Webber. It's suppossedly written for a lady to sing but David really put his on vibe into it with his arrangement. It's very beautiful and relaxing. Congratulations David on making it to the Top 5! Here are the lyrics:

Think of me
think of me fondly,
when we've said goodbye.
Remember me
once in a while -
please promise me
you'll try.

When you find
that, once
again, you long
to take your heart back
and be free -
if you
ever find
a moment,
spare a thought
for me

We never said
our love
was evergreen,
or as unchanging
as the sea -but if
you can still
remember
stop and think
of me . . .

Think of all the things
we've shared and seen -don't think about the things
which might have been . . .

Think of me,
think of me waking,
silent and
resigned.

Imagine me,
trying too hard
to put you
from my mind.

Recall those days
look back
on all those times,
think of the things
we'll never do -there will
never be
a day, when
I won't think
of you . .

Until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

Hectic. Rushing. Depressing. Do you describe school this way when it's only the second week? *sigh*

I'm in a whirl right now. Focus man, FOCUS! *slaps self*

Friday, April 18, 2008

Hey guyz!

Let me juz update on whatz been happening in my life. Alrite, this week have been hectic for me. I know school juz started and itz only lectures this week. But, ever since I've started doing graphics using Photoshop, many people have been requesting my designs. I'm so honoured to have my designs requested by them. Tanx guyz! Oh btw, the graphics are graphics of David Archuleta, the next American Idol! Haha!

Alrite, this week was Mariah Carey week and David sang "When You Believe" from the animated movie "The Prince of Egypt". Itz truly beautiful and touching. Really. The tingly feeling I get when listening to this song is even stronger than when I listen to his other songs. Awesome! Here are the lyrics:

Many nights we've prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understood
Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains
Long before we knew we could

There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

In this time of fear
When prayer so often proves in vain
Hope seemed like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away
Yet now I'm standing here
My heart's so full, I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words
I never thought I'd say

There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

They don't always happen when you ask
And it's easy to give in to your fears
But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see your way clear through the rain
A small, but still, resilient voice
Says help is very near

There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

Until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

David Archuleta's Angels. Touching and heart-warming. Tingly feeling again! Here are the lyrics:

I sit and wait
Does an angel contemplate my fate
And do they know
The places where we go
When were grey and oldc
os I have been told
That salvation lets their wings unfold
So when Im lying in my bedT
houghts running through my head
And I feel the love is deadI
m loving angels instead

And through it all she offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
Whether Im right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me
I know that life wont break me
When I come to call she wont forsake me
Im loving angels instead

When Im feeling weak
And my pain walks down a one way street
I look above
And I know Ill always be blessed with love
And as the feeling grows
She breathes flesh to my bones
And when love is dead
Im loving angels instead

And through it all she offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
Whether Im right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me
I know that life wont break me
When I come to call she wont forsake me
Im loving angels instead

And through it all she offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
Whether Im right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me
I know that life wont break me
When I come to call she wont forsake me
Im loving angels instead

Until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

Hey guyz! I'm not sure if anyone even visits this blog of mine. Oh well. This blog is a place where I can express myself freely so I'm glad I'm just doing this to pour out whatever I'm feeling. :)

These past few days, I have been tearing up. I do not know why. The first time I teared up was when I was listening to Katherine McPhee's "Over It". Suddenly, out of the blue, I started to feel my eyes become watery. Another time was after I wake up one morning and I felt a teardrop down my cheek. Maybe I'm just being emotional these past few days. It's alright I guess. People do tear up once in a while. After a while, it gets better. :)

School's starting in a few days. Gosh how time flies. It's like *poof* school's reopening soon. Hopefully the new semester sails through smoothly, especially when most of my classmates are still on attachment. :)

Until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

Hey guyz! Just wanted to share yet another great performance from David Archuleta! Congratulations David for making it to the Top 8! Keep soaring higher and be your best!

Here are the lyrics to Smoky Mountain Memories from Dolly Parton:

You ought to go north somebody told us
Cause the air is filled with gold dust
And fortune falls like snow flakes in your hands
Now I don't recall who said it
But we'd lived so long on credit
And so we headed out to find our promised land

Just poor Smoky Mountains farm folk
With nothing more than high hopes
So we hitched our station wagon to a star
But our dreams all fell in on us
Cause there was no land of promise
Though it's a stuggle just keepin' sight of who you are

Oh and these northern nights are dreary
And my southern heart is weary
As I wonder how the old folks are back home
But I know that they all love me
And they're all thinking of me
The Smoky Mountains memories keep me strong

You know I've been thinkin' a whole lot lately
About what's been and what awaits me
It takes all I've got to give what life demands
You go insane if you give in to it
Life's a mill and I've been through it
I'm just thankful I'm creative with my hands

Oh and these northern nights they're dreary
And my southern eyes are teary
As I wonder how the old folks are back home
But I'll keep leanin' on my Jesus
He'll love and guide and lead us
The Smoky Mountains memories keep me strong

If I'll keep looking to the father
Keep our heads above the water
While the Smoky Mountains memories keep me strong

School opens in a week. Hope the new semester would be a smooth-sailing one. :)

Until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

Ooh! I totally love the rendition of the song "You're The Voice" by David Archuleta! It rocks! I think it is a great choice of song as it is upbeat and has a great meaning behind it. Here are the lyrics:

We have
The chance to turn pages over
We can write what we want to write
We gotta make ends meet before we get much older
We're all someone's daughter
We're all someone's son
How long can we look at each other
Down the barrel of a gun?

You're the voice try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Whoa oh oh
We're not gonna live in silence
We're not gonna live in fear
Whoa oh oh

This time
We know we all can stand together
We have the power to be powerful
Believing we can make it better

We're all someone's daughter
We're all someone's son
How long can we look at each other
Down the barrel of a gun?

You're the voice try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Whoa oh oh
We're not gonna live in silence
We're not gonna live in fear

Whoa oh oh

Until here then. Byez! Nash out! Go David Archuleta! :D
Hey guys!

Im totally wide awake now, so I can't really go back to sleep. Maybe later in the afternoon for a nap. Haha! Woke up early this morning as I had to help my mum send my sister to school since today is her first "period", which is the worst day for any woman since the pain is really excruciating. No elaboration on this matter. You guys should know. Haha!

I can't believe school is starting soon. Only 2 more weeks. I don't know if I should be sad or happy. During this vacation, I just slacked and chilled all the way. Haha! Well, hopefully the new semester has a positive note to it with new tutors and lecturers. Hopefully we can get along well.

Oh, I borrowed some books from the library and amazingly, I managed to finish reading a book in one day! I can't believe it myself! Wow! Haha! Never really accomplished this before. Usually it takes me like a week to finish a book. :)

Oh man! David Archuleta has stiff competition right now! True fans, please support David all the way! GO DAVID!

Well, until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

Watching the news on TV and reading newspapers..
Have got me thinking..
Why can't the world be at peace?
Is it that hard to make peace with one another on the planet?
Why do we need to bomb each other's country?
Or kill innocent lives?
Just to bring in the message..
That "I hate you"..
Or "You better give me what I want then we'll have peace"..

I mean, we are all human beings..
We are all the same species..
We are homosapiens..
So what makes one different from another?
Personality? Skin colour? Language? Dialect? Country? Religion?
Those may be true..
But we have the same pair of Eyes..
The same Nose..
The same Mouth..
The same pair of Ears..
The same pair of Hands and Legs..
So, in conclusion..
Is it hard to make friends with each other around the world so that the world can be a happy and peaceful place to live in?

You think about it. You decide.

Until here then. Byez! Nash out! :D

Today..
Im at a complete loss..
I don't know what to do..
I'm in a whirl of emotions..
Many thoughts are running crazy in my mind and soul..
What is this feeling?
Seems my soul is somehow disturbed..
But by what?
Problems I encounter?
What kind of problems?
Ignorance?
Whatever it is..
I ask for calmness and peace..
So I can resume my life..
Without sorrow..
That's all I ask for..

Heyall!

Today's post is all about the latest movies I watched. I must say there are a lot of good movies that are coming out at this time. Truly awesome! I wish I could watch all of them at the cinema but as you know, money needs to be in your pocket in order to do that. Anyway, here are the reviews:

Step Up 2: The Streets

If you enjoyed watching Step Up (apparently I did not watch the first part so these 2 movies might link), you might enjoy this movie. With its loud thumping music piercing through your ears, you can be ensure that you will have a bigger headache if you are watching this movie with a slight headache (believe me, I know the feeling). Anyway, it's quite a fun movie to watch if you are into hip-hop and break dance. Also, in the movie, there are some things which one has to be commited and has to balance his or her commitments. Overall, you enjoy it and learn something from it too at the end. :)

The Spiderwick Chronicles

I just watched this today since today is the last day of the March holidays and my family thought we could enjoy our last day as a family together before the busy life sets in tomorrow. For a short duration of time, this movie is actually quite good. Although they say it's not as exciting as Narnia, it still has the attention-grabbing factor. With its wierd (is this the right word?) characters and cool, special effects, I bet the whole family would be able to enjoy this movie. With its simple plot, you can immediately connect with the movie. Not forgetting that there are funny, happy and sad moments in this movie, so I give it a thumbs up for the variety of moods in the movie.

Upcoming movies that I want to watch:

  1. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
  2. The Forbidden Kingdom
  3. Kung Fu Panda (looks fun when I watched the trailer. Haha!)

Until here then. Byez! Nash Out! :D

Sometimes I wonder if people really care..
